Day 29

After the multitude of eruptions from last night finally subsided,
the little volcano looks so blissful at rest.

Day 28

Clouds this after noon. Was a nice, fairly clear day out today.
Very clear sky's after all the rain we have received.

This was the sunset on the drive home reflected in the Rosemond Lake bed.

Day 27

These clouds looked "painted" onto the sky this evening.

Day 26

Driving across "Lake Rosemond" this morning on my way into work. Normally this is dusty bone-dry, but with all the rain we have been getting over the last week and a half, it has gotten pretty full. Hmmm maybe I will just have to find a canoe and go explore some shore lines ;-)

Day 25

Weekly photo of the kids. Wasn't quite how I wanted it to be, but I couldn't get the little turds to cooperate. Oh well, it still worked ok.

Day 24

Cool sunset this afternoon. Looked like the sky was on fire. It's amazing how clear the sky is out here after a good rain. And we really needed the water, just not all at one time. But I think we will take what we can get.

Day 23

Finally built my Lego Mars Rover today.

Overall it is really cool once it was completed, but it was missing so many pieces I almost wasn't able to complete it. Luckily the kids had enough left over pieces from other sets that I could make work. Still missing a tire though.

Day 22

A brief spat of blue sky this morning. Was short lived though... The rain came back in full force for pretty much the rest of the day and on into the evening.

Dinner...

Lemon Pepper crusted baked Salmon. Sauteed Shrimp. And Capellini Pomodoro. Pretty good for just being thrown together.

Day 21

Still raining. (Actually poring.)

Tanner and Jordyn had artwork in an art exhibit at their school tonight. Tanner won the raffle for a month of free art lessons from a local art school. Very proud of both of them for being very creative. It was really neat to see each of their pieces of artwork framed and displayed like they would be at a gallery show.

Tanners Paper Mache flower picture.

Jordyn's pencil rendition of an Ansel Adams photo.

Some of the other artwork on display from other students.

Jordyn was not able to actually goto the exhibit because she had been sick all day.
